Weekend Wedding

Last weekend Matt and Hayden had the pleasure of being in a close friends wedding.  Matt a groomsman and Hayden the flower girl.

The wedding was beautiful and we had a great time celebrating with friend.

And it has to be said....that although the bride was gorgeous....Miss Hayden definately was the Cutest!!!

"Boo-Boo"

Hayden got a "Boo-boo"!

Unfortunately, instead of hearing sweet dreams from our baby last night we heard a "THUD!"

She rolled off the bed in the middle of the night and busted open her forehead.

Just a small laceration which did not require stitches.

Whew!!!

Instead her "boo-boo" was glued shut and held in place with just a few steri-strips. 

She handled the procedure very well with minimal tears and was fast asleep before we got out of the pediatrician's parking lot.

Art Project Part II

Part II: Today Miss Hayden got an opportunity to explore her creative side.

She painted the second half of the pet bowls.

She did a great job.  She was very careful not to spill the paints and enjoyed making lots of swirls.

Art Project

I purchased a cute pet bowl painting set awhile back and we finally found a little time for Tyler to tap into his creative art side. 

If you know Tyler, he usually doesn't enjoy art projects but, he really got into this one.

He was very careful and did a great job painting Bodhi dog a new food bowl.

I am really proud of him. Great job T!

"Earth Day Dialogue"

Me: Tyler, did you have the earth day assembly today?

Tyler: Yup

Me: Did you enjoy the assembly?

Tyler: Yup

Me: Did you learn anything about earth day at the assembly?

Tyler: Yup

Me: Well... Tyler...did you do anything special for earth day?

Tyler: Well...Me and Travis fed some red ants.

Me: You fed red ants?

Tyler: Yup

Me: What did you feed them?

Tyler: (In a silly Texas accent) CHEETOS!!!
